On February 24, 2010, toward the end of the show, the killer whale killed an experienced female trainer. Dawn Brancheau, a 40-year-old with extensive training experience, drowned following a popular Dine with Shamu show as at least two dozen tourists looked on from above a whale tank and from an underwater viewing area. SeaWorld executive Chuck Tompkins confirmed what witnesses saw, that Brancheau was pulled into the water by Tilikum, a 12,000-pound male killer whale , he confirmed that shamu kills trainer 20120 video , killed the trainer

Brancheau was finishing up a session with Tilikum, the largest killer whale in SeaWorld’s collection and its only mature male, following the Dine with Shamu show

Shamu is the stage name of SeaWorld’s iconic Orca (killer whale) show, which is shared by numerous adult male or female orcas at the SeaWorld parks. Shamu’s popular performances are presented along with Baby Shamu and Grandbaby Shamu in 7-million-gallon tanks. Killer whales are the largest species of the dolphin family.

The name Shamu means “She-Namu” and was given to the second female orca ever captured. She was only the third orca ever displayed in a public exhibit and was originally intended to be a companion for the orca Namu at a Seattle public aquarium. But the two orcas experienced social conflicts and Shamu was eventually leased to and then purchased by SeaWorld San Diego on December 20, 1965. Shamu kills trainer 2010 video was a Southern Resident orca, likely born in 1961 and captured in Puget Sound in 1965. She performed in several SeaWorld shows and eventually died on August 23, 1971. Her final year of performing in front of an audience was mired in controversy. She was retired from performing after an incident caught on tape where she attacked Annette Eckis, an employee of SeaWorld at the time, who was supposed to ride her.

Today, “Shamu kills trainer 2010 video”,” “Namu,” and “Ramu” are trademarked stage names given to all of the orcas residing within the SeaWorld parks. The first Baby Shamu is named Kalina. She is the first surviving orca born in captivity on September 26, 1985. Notably, ten orca calves had been born in captivity before 1985, but five were stillborn and the others all died within two months of their births Kalina’s parents, Katina and Winston, were bestowed the names Namu (Katina) and Ramu (Winston). The stage name Grandbaby Shamu was given to Kalina’s first calf, which was born on February 2, 1993 – a male named Keet. The first Great Grandbaby Shamu was Keet’s first calf, born on December 21, 2004 – a female named Kalia. The first ever calf to be born to captive-bred parents (Kayla and Keet) is a female named Halyn, who was born on October 9, 2005 and died on June 15, 2008

In my example I am using a Sony VHS to DVD Recorder, but in most cases you may be using a regular VCR which the steps outlined will still be the same. Make sure that you have your ADVC-300 device connected and both your computer & device turned on. Keep in mind that some applications such as iChat or Screen Sharing can conflict with your device so be sure not to be running those while doing your capture. Just follow the video tutorial for the rest of this setup. Have Fun & Enjoy.

Memories and vhs tapes are not eternal. dvds can live longer. If your large collection of family movies and home videos is on vhs, you should consider converting it to dvd. If you leave it on vhs, it can soon die because the quality of vhs recordings gets poor over time. Additionally, if you play your vhs movies frequently, this wears them out additionally. So, if you want to save your vhs memories? hurry up and convert them to dvd. There are plenty of ways to do it. The process of converting vhs to dvd is not as easy as with most other formats because most vhs videos are recorded only on tapes and not on other media.

If you own a small portable video friendly storage device you can watch movies basically anywhere. This could be your iPod, Zune video, Palm or many other devices. If you have a dvd and want to use a video converter to make the video friendly for your little device, this is completely understandable as many different formats can be used from dvds to little devices. There are many programs that will allow you to watch a dvd on your little device. Videora is a straightforward video converter program that will get your dvds running quickly and smoothly on your iPod.

The easiest (but certainly not the cheapest) way to transfer vhs to dvd is to outsource it to a company. When you outsource to a company, you don?t have to deal with all the technical details of the conversion. You bring them your vhs tapes and after some time go and collect the ready dvds. This way you can quickly save your memories.

If you want to deal with the conversion personally, there are many options. As a rule, these options require a lot of time. One of the most time consuming steps is to capture the vhs video via an analog-to-DV converter. You need to encode the video in MPEG-2 format and author a dvd. If you would like to edit your videos, analog-to-DV conversion is the way to go. However, you should know in advance, that finishing just one hour of video will take you hours or even days!

Another option for vhs to dvd conversion that is a little quicker is if you capture the vhs video using a hardware capture device that will convert the vhs to MPEG-2. This limits the options you have for edit-ing, but one hour of video is one hour of work. Once you have it on your computer as MPEG-2, you can burn it to a dvd.

If you have your home video on your camcorder then you can simply attach the device to a standalone dvd recorder. This vhs to dvd conversion is simple and straightforward and will copy your vhs and create dvds for you. This version works best if you want your video exactly as it is, with no cuts or edits.

The options to convert your memories from vhs to dvd are many. Depending on your time, budget and the need to make edits, you will choose one way or the other.

Your older camera requires a new lens and finding a brand new lens is difficult in the digital age, so you are considering used camera lenses. Makes sense, digital cameras are becoming more and more popular and most of them don’t require different lenses to take the same photos as the older film cameras do. Camera lenses can be expensive so how do you make sure you’re not getting a chunk of junk. You would like a good deal and a good lens at the same time.

Finding used camera lenses are just a few clicks away. Hopping on the data super road and doing a quick search can net you with thousands of ends in mere seconds. Sorting thru them can take time but it’s’s worth it.

When thinking about the acquisition of a second user camera lens, double check the type of camera that you are hoping to purchase the lens for. You need to make sure that you are purchasing the correct lens for the proper camera. Most camera lenses aren’t interchangeable, so taking a moment to double check will save you disappointment in the future.

There are many shops out there that offer mint or near mint lenses at a reasonable price . Before you purchase, however , you want to check retailer reviews. This is the most effective way to ensure that you are getting your money’s worth and not getting ripped off. If the retailer doesn’t post user reviews on their site simply Google the retailer and see if there are any review sites that may give you a better picture of what sort of person, or company, you are considering doing business with. You also wish to be certain to confirm the any return policy and guarantees the retailer has. If for some reason the lens doesn’t work or is delivered damaged you want a way to either exchange it or get your cash back.

The best place to test is auction sites, such as EBay, for lenses. Often times someone that is upgrading to a new camera will desire to get rid of their old equipment. A professional photographer or camera connoisseur will have taken very good care of their equipment and you’ll be able to find a fair deal on their old hardware.

Used camera lenses can be discovered the web over. Finding one that fits your camera and is a top quality might take effort and time, but with tenacity you can succeed at getting a top quality used lens without spending the new lens price .

For some good sources of used camera lenses, have a look at this electronic camera site. They have great prices, selection, and digitial camera reviews from different vendors.
